Hi everyone, what lovely folk to rent from! And a superb apartment, light and spacious. The queen size (or king?) bed was deliciously comfortable with fine cotton linen, and the fresh flowers were a delight. Coffee and t-bags, milk etc more than welcome. (Back doorway to inside owner's apartment is of no consequence as covered by heavy curtain and locked.) Plenty of hot water, spotless and just so close walking to everywhere! Would definitely stay here again. You cannot do better! Kind regards Bev

Hola Carolina y familia!! Muchas gracias por hacer que nuestra estancia en Amsterdam haya sido realmente especial. El apartamento es perfecto. La ubicación es inmejorable, tranquila y muy céntrica, a un paso de todos los sitios de interés, y en la zona de Amsterdam que más nos gusta, junto al Jordaan, rodeado de cafés y restaurante muy buenos. Está muy bien equipado, en la cocina encuentras todo cuanto puedas necesitar. Y el baño es perfecto, queremos uno igual en nuestra casa!. Descansamos muy bien en la cama, y disfrutamos mucho de las vistas del canal. También queríamos daros las gracias por todas las cosas que nos prestasteis para Jorge, la cuna, la trona, los juguetes de Willen (Jorge disfrutó mucho, se sintió como en casa). Y por último daros las gracias también por vuestra ayuda y consejos. Este apartamento es la casa que todos deseariamos tener en Amsterdam! Perfecto para parejas y familias con bebes. Volveremos seguro Carolina, nos vemos pronto, seguro, en esta visita se nos quedaron cosas pendientes que tendremos que hacer. Nos vemos pronto, besos desde España y Gracias!!!

Hello Carolina & family Thanks a lot for making that our stay in Amsterdam have been really special. The apartment is just perfect!. The location is superbly located, quiet and right in the center, just at one step from all interesting sites, and the area of Amsterdam that we like the most, in the Jordaan, surounded by great cafe & restaurants. The apartment is fully equiped, in the kitchen you find anything you might need and the bathroom is perfect, we want the same one at out home!!. We had a perfect rest in the bed and we enjoyed a lot with the canal views. We also wanted to give you a special thanks for all the things that you borrowed us for Jorge, the cot, the high chair, Willen´s toys (Jorge enjoyed a lot, he really felt like home). And last but not least we wanted to thank you for your help and advices. This apartment is the house that we all want to have in Amsterdam! it is perfect or couples and families with babys. We´ll come back for sure Carolina, we see you soon, for sure, on this visit we left some things to do that we´ll have to do on our next visit. We see you soon, kisses from Spain and GRACIAS!!

Just got back from 6 nights at Singel 96. Great location, very comfortable apartment, really comfortable bed. Carolina is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. So much to do within walking and biking distance of the apartment. Thanks so much.

From 12 July 2010 we stayed for a week in this very good flexible accomodation and enjoyed a very relaxing stress free holiday. Singel 96 is based in an excellent area within easy walk of wonderful restaurants and all areas. Carolina is a wonderful host who always made sure that we were well looked after, providing a valuable insight into the best areas to explore around Amsterdam. we loved our stay in singel 96! the location was so central and the apartment spacious with lots of personal touches. we loved looking out to the beautiful canal. the apartment was the perfect option for our us and our children.

Visiting Single 96 for the first time on a short business trip - but fell in love with the apartment. So much character and warmth. the personal touches that made it feel so homely. The quaint little front door - I smiled every time we had to use it - I loved it! The central location gave us the option to go into beautiful streets for cafe's, restaurants and walks, peaceful and romantic - but also walk in the opposite direction to discover a more lively area & the 'red light district' which was definitely interesting to walk through! Gorgeous local markets and such friendly people. We were here on business and unfortunately had to leave early due to the 'Ash Cloud' and flight disruption but we will definitely be booking to come back for a personal holiday, as the apartment was just perfect. Carolina - your hospitality was wonderful, so helpful in every little detail. No wonder so many people want to visit you. Thank you again so much for a wonderful stay. Petit appartement très sympa et très confortable situé à deux pas de la gare centrale le long d'un canal très paisible et très pittoresque. Une salle de bain hollywoodienne et un lit fantastique qui ne laisse à votre dos aucun mauvais souvenir au réveil (à ne pas négliger surtout après avoir arpenté les rues et canaux d'Amsterdam de long en large toute une journée!!) Carolina, la proprio, nous a réservé un accueil super chaleureux à l'arrivée et nous a fourni un tas d'informations et de conseils bien utiles. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliale et n'hésitons pas une minute à recommender ce super appartement à tous ceux qui souhaiteraient venir passer quelques jours à Amsterdam. Superbe accueil, je recommande cet endroit très agréable situé au centre ville pas besoin de voiture..... A l'arrivée dans l'appartement tout était prêt, café, thé et autres gourmandises, bref rien à dire, a oui j'oubliai en cadeau le jolie sourire de Carolina A ma prochaine visite je choisirai ce bel endroit. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at Singel96. The apartment is big and private. We love the comfy bed and nice big bathroom. My one year old son was sick and Carolina was very helpful in getting us what we need. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

a perfect place to stay in a beautiful city. three generations of us felt very much at home. I staid for a weekend with my mother an my one jear old daughter at the singelgracht 96. we'd come again every time!!

We had the most lovely time in this cozy and well appointed apartment. So nice to have so much room to enjoy. The bathroom was really special, better than our master at home. We can't thank you enough Carolina for the warm welcome and all of you help with recommendations for restaurants and sites. We really love visiting Amsterdam, will continue to return, and we will hope that your place is available next time. The location is excellent, and we feel as if we have made new friends. Hi! I had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful, quaint B&B about two weeks ago, for one night. The owners are friends of mine, so it was an extra-special visit. I loved being there and having such a special room all to myself! It is spacious, very comfortable, and there is a pc I could use. There is also a spacious bathroom with all you need, including a kitchen with all appliances you need to cook for yourself may you decide to stay in. The place is very stylishly decorated and has an intalian hint to it. If you are looking for a B&B which is near central station, has parking available outside your door and is near the Jordan (I recommend going through the 9 Streets for the variety of Amsterdam boutiques), then I highly recommend this place. You will find it a peaceful place in the heart of the city!

Hi Carolina and Ernst, Thank you so much for 6 days in your beautiful flat. Even for norwegians, Amsterdam was very cold this time of year. However, walking the streets of your special and interessting city for hours, there's always a warm bar or restaurant around the corner... And what's more, a big tub to fill up when we came back. - Not to mention the bed - I miss it! So untill we come back, all the best for your family:)

We had 2 lovely days with a very nice and warm welcome. Bed & Apartment is very cosy and offers all the comfort. It is centrally located for all the nice spots in Amsterdam; Jordaan, the 9 streets,canals, bars and restaurants. We will certainly do recommand this place to our friends. A great place to relax and to enjoy a lovely weekend in the bustling heart of Amsterdam. We loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cosy, homely apartment with Carolina and Ernst as great hosts. Ideal location for the railway station, shops, Dam square and many other attractions. If you are looking to stay in a quieter area of the town then this is perfect. We shall definitely be returning!

I have been to Amsterdam more than half a dozen times and out of all the places I have stayed this is by far the absolute best. My wife and I will only be staying with Carolina on all of our return trips. Not only is the place quite large but it is comfortable, has a private entrance and beautiful bathtub (which was used extensively) and could not be better located. A truly awesome place to stay and I could not recommend it more.
